Now that we have discussed what a psi vamp is, I would like to discuss more so their operational techniques and a few other matters that I seemed to have missed. Let me clarify something right at the beginning however. As I noted in the last post I think Psi Vampirism though the techniques might be beneficial in some area of attack, defense, and other combative elements I think the role of it is a weak position to be in. If you have no other alternative than to feed on the dirty energy of other individual's emotions then it is clear that you are not looking for them. Psi Vampirism is a choice I feel and not something that one is born into or has to be. It is addictive, it is harmful to your living, and it is by no means something that ought to be romanticized.

Through the years I have classified psi vamps into around two categories. Though I might have missed some I think these would be the brunt of where they lie.

Loner: These types are most known in being more or less by themselves, doing what they want, and not falling into any kind of majority or group. Their feeds are usually one on one. Which means that they might pull someone that is attracted to them for whatever reason, have their fill and then throw back, or let them leave. The bonus to the loner is that hey work in more or less anonymity. The feeds aren't as great but they can work without worry that they will be found out in most cases.

Guru: These types build for themselves or rather they have built for them groups in which they can feed off of. They will be able to keep their following longer because they switch from one feed to another without draining any one individual dry at any one time. they can also sample a variety of different feeds this way so they don't have to get bored with what is just in front of them. This Guru type can cause the following to seek more members to increase the feed, fight amongst themselves while it feeds from that, or fight amongst some enemy they want a taste of. The disadvantage of this type is that if it is found out it will severely restrict its operations later, and that could cause all sorts of problems with its way of being. No offense to the Light community but one of the best ways to establish a returning guru that has been found out in a community is the plea of innocence, victimization, repentance, Live and let live, and of course the turning of a new leaf.

I think I touched on this in my last piece, but it also must be noted here that most individuals have an immunity being built in their psyche every time they are fed on. Which is why the loner goes through individuals more quickly than the guru. This is also why the Guru if smart only takes bits and pieces here and there and doesn't gorge themselves on its victim. This is also why fighting against others outside of the group would be a key interest as they might be able to feed on those not of the group and again save the energy of that following for a later time.

The stronger the Energy practitioner usually means of course the better the energy as well as the stronger and faster the immunity will take place in. I would liken the immunity to be much as in some of us our physical bodies might detest certain sickly foods, it gets them out of our systems and if we end up eating them again we might become even sicker and more opposed into eating it than we were before.

This is one reason that Gurus in particular seem to especially need those that are young. Who are more tolerable to the psychic draining than those of a more experienced age or training. Those of you that have been through something like this before will also see yourselves in reaction to them without them even having done anything like this to you. The patterns that they work in and the energies they take are similar. A loner type can be more creative if needs be or just work on someone else. He isn't subject of having to keep up a reputation for the most part.
