Strain attack – A form of psychic attack in which the attacker overloads the victims psyche with energy thus damaging it to a point of lessened and or greatly reduced capacity.

This can be accomplished in many forms. Usually taking an empathic approach though is the easiest for beginners.

The force of the emotions that you feel when you intensely dislike or hate someone usually works best. Visualising the victims presence or using the "Resonance" of that person is very important in any psychic attack. Without the focus of the individual that this and any attack is directed against is like boxing blind.

So now you have your target visualised keeping its resonance focussed on. you get to build the weapon itself. Some practitioners focus the attack energy or the energy you have molded with your emotions in an aggressive fashion to some kind of weapon. Some see it more as just a beam of energy that in itself is the weapon. either will do once more according to your own comfort and ease. This kind of thing works best with experience and with experience you shall change the visualisation style to one that best suits your needs.

Focussing on the attack visualisation comes into play once again. You must direct the energy of the attack on the resonance of the victim. using the attack energy some of seen it as a weapon for instance a sword. This sword is slashing and cutting away at the resonance you have in front of you. Or the beam of energy for example they see it much like river crushing into the victim slowing or quickly tearing it up or dissolving it with its contact. At all times you must be aware of the visualisation as well as keeping the focus on the energy in working against the victim.

I cannot stress enough the focus needed to carry this out. You must be able to detach from all distractions in order to get a clean strong working done. any distraction and the practicioner not only has to start over again but the victim now if they felt the attack in the first place has a chance to defend itself. The strain attack like all the others has greater strength in a surprise setting.
