One of the most fundamental things for anyone that is going to take the plunge and start working or travelling in an astral manner is a tool that has many benefits. This tool can be used for both attack and defense as well as a focal point to channel your own energy through or a device to drain it from other things.

This tool most commonly has been visualized as a sword or other weapon and thus has kept the name of Astral Weapon. With enough work it becomes an external energic part of you yet it is solid and tangible within the astral levels you are interacting with.

The building of the weapon takes precise detailed visualization of how you want the object to look. You should be able to visualize everything about it abd rotate it in D motion.

Personally I chose a sword but those that want other kinds of weapons are just as capable of creating them. The weapon should be one that is comfortable to you. That you feel good about and have no problems keeping in your minds eye.

Once you have the form of your weapon complete and you can bring it up in your minds eye at any time you choose you can then start powering it with different energies. Most will do this in the beginning with their own energies. You can again do this in a number of ways however I will give a basic visualization to use one that I have found works best for me.

Visualize the sword in the same detailed way you have in constructing it. Place it in front of you and visualize a clear cord coming from you and into it. I usually visualize this cord coming out of my palm and into the weapons hilt. I focus My energy along that cord and I notice the color change to itas it enters the sword. I visualize the sword intaking the energy and starting to have a bit of a glow. If it is my energy it is intaking then the sword should have a bit of an "aura" of sorts like my own.

The amount of power you can stick into this is up to you however you need to be aware that this object is part of you and therefore the energy within it is not constant but supplied by you to it. If you try to stick too much energy into it and it ends up having more than what you internally hold its going to be a burden in keeping it at that level. this is sidestepped by the aspect of supplying the energy needed to the weapon from a different source than yourself. However this is an advanced part of astralling and is usually done after the weapon is primarily powered with your own energies.
